Vibing my way to an MVP

Last week, I was excited to join Eleni Lialiamou at the Lovable Founder Series. What struck me most about the event was the energy and enthusiasm of the entrepreneurs - so many people with so many groundbreaking digital propositions.

Guided by Lovable’s Fast Track companion, we vibe-coded our way from Idea to Execution in a single evening creating working prototypes, playing right into Agile Principle # 1 - "Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery of valuable software".

Many of the attendees were graduates of the Kimolian Academy which was founded by Eleni to empower women to create products with AI. This event was a vibrant testament to Eleni’s vision of enabling founders to realise their ambitions.

I used the Lovable platform to see how quickly I could recreate some features that I built as part of an MVP with Gabrielle Hase for a pet healthcare and wellbeing platform CatDogFish in 2019. The answer was an hour and that included some great visuals for Find My Breed and a Google maps plugin for finding pet care services (albeit in Brooklyn!). Platforms like this transform the start-up and innovation space.

As all great product managers know, getting a working prototype in front of your users in the shortest possible time is key to capturing early feedback. With vibe coding, AI is transforming the capability of products, putting the power into the hands of visionaries to go from 0-1 in record time. The Build-Measure-Learn feedback loop has never been shorter.
