How One Founder Turned an Abstract Vision Into a Buildable Roadmap

There's an immense gap between having a great idea and successfully bringing it to life. It's a gap every founder eventually hits — the point where enthusiasm and vision have to become something buildable, testable and real.

This week, I sat down with entrepreneur Maxine Nwaneri to talk through that exact journey: how her idea for an app evolved from something abstract into a clear roadmap for an MVP.

At The Digital Product Collective, this is the work we love most — helping start-ups navigate the messy, non-linear path from "I have an idea" to "I have something people can actually use." Maxine's story is a great example of what that process looks like in practice: the moments of clarity, the hard questions, and the shift from thinking like a dreamer to thinking like a product person.

Watch the full interview below to hear Maxine's journey in her own words.

Thank you to Emily Munster for filming this conversation.

If you're a founder sitting somewhere in that gap — with an idea, but not yet a roadmap — get in touch to talk about how we can help.
